This project will encompass many of the
Common Core State Standards and include other NLCA requirements in Bible Study,
History, Research, Multi-media Presentation, and Writing. Student choice is a
vital part of the learning process.

Khan
Academy
The purpose of this is for you to continue
working on fifth grade skills while separated at this time. I have created a classroom
in Khan Academy, and have made assignments for you in Vocabulary, Math, and
Grammar. You will need to watch the assigned instructional videos, and then
practice the skills by answering the set of questions assigned. I will be able
to monitor your progress and provide feedback. Please use the following class

Weather
Observations
In Chapter 8, Watching the Weather, we
studied the different components that make our weather from the temperature and
wind, to the clouds and precipitation. This week keep a weather journal and
record your observations. Have your parents sign off on your journal and let me
know that you completed your weather observations every day.
